A while back Mary applied to Flight leader for some distilled pure magic for a project to help Hindu Kush with her demon taint affliction. Flight Leader denied the request for security reasons. Then the disaster at the Commerce Islands happened resulting in Mary, Blue and Spar along with their dragons being locked out of dragon lair.
For those of you who are knew or forgot, along with being a new dragon rider, Mary is a potions mage. She is very accomplished and has an idea how she can help HK.
