So now I think I may have just violated a bunch of writing rules. A Flashback in a flashback in a flash forward. There has got to be something wrong with that!
Whisper Song cast a spell on Robert when he was a baby so that he could never harm Dark Eyes physically. He can break her heart just fine but that would take a real miracle to prevent.
